The Hollywood Stars Bungalow is a licensed, legal, vacation rental.
Like a hotel, we pay accommodations tax to the City of LA, and the home is cleaned professionally between guests.
We also own and operate vacation rentals in South Florida and Hawaii. We have owned and operated vacation properties since 2002.
Our properties abide by, and follow all local laws and requirements for vacation rentals, and our pricing must include tax and cleaning.
With the increasing number of foreclosures, a large number of "vacation rentals" have flooded the short-term rental market, nationwide.
Many of these "vacation rentals" are legitimate, while many are not. We do not know (nor is it our business to know) which properties are legal.
We simply suggest that you do your homework, and choose wisely. If a rental seems under-priced, or "too good to be true" - it probably is.
One of our guests recently had the experience of arriving to his "vacation rental" in Las Vegas, only to find a Sheriff's notice and padlock on the front door.
